Kids will be Kids

07/6/2011

My sister in law Sue asked me a long long time ago to take some school pictures for her kids. She didn’t want the traditional sort of portrait, and I was glad to take a few of my adorable nieces and nephews just playing and running around like kids do. Drew is the best big sister and takes care of her little brothers and sister like no one else. I really like that everyone thinks we look like sisters, she is gorgeous inside and out. Gavin is one of the smartest kids I know, and loves being a big brother too. Devin is so adorable, and I think she is the tomboy of the bunch, so we have a lot in common. Will is pretty much the reason Weston and I decided to start trying to have kids, and I love that he and Suli look so much alike. And another little brother is on the way soon. He will be very well taken care of! Thanks to Greg and Sue for having me, it is awesome to have your family ask you to be their photographer!

Sara & William Issac

06/28/2011

I have been so very fortunate to reconnect with some old friends form high school. Thank you facebook. Sara and I were pretty close back in the day. We used to want to start up an all girl rock band. She would play the bass, and I would play the guitar. Her uncle taught us how to play a couple nirvana and green day songs. I think we could have been pretty good! Well, a year ago Sara had the most adorable little boy, and wanted to celebrate his birthday with a mommy & me photo session. This is my new favorite session. I really love the connection Sara has with her son William Issac. He is a lucky little man to have such a great mommy. Thank you Sara for everything!
