THE WHELAN FAMILY

A few weeks ago I spent the evening with the Whelans out at the Great Salt Lake. Natalie had a blast playing on the sandy beaches and jumping around int he water. I have shot the Whelans quite a few times now, and I love how they are always so natural together and just play around as a family.

A few weeks ago I got an email from Amy, the mother of one of my most favorite brides from last year, Frances. She said it was her parents 60th anniversary, and “mom finally said yes to a photographer.” I was so excited. For one, I adore the Johnson family, and for two I was so thrilled to photograph an anniversary. 60 years is quite an accomplishment, and I was so honored to document the love of this incredible family. I spent the evening with them as they celebrated.
